Waybiller faced the very same challenge when they decided to try an external partner. Southwestern Recruitment&#8217;s recruiter <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kristian-paekivi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kristian Paekivi<\/a><\/strong> helps companies to fill mostly technical IT-based positions, but he&#8217;s also focused on sales candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kristian had the opportunity to speak with Waybiller\u2019s representative, Grete Kungla, CCO of the Thorgate Group. They discussed their thoughts on the partnership, what was the satisfaction rate for the results, and whether anything remained unresolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did the partnership with external partner in recruiting begin? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Grete, working with an external recruiter was not their initial plan. She mentioned that they receive many partnership offers and have previous experience with recruiters. We thought that if we found someone, that would already be a win.\u201d However, despite initial skepticism, the collaboration left a strong impression.<br>They especially praised Southwestern Recruitment\u2019s recruiter, Kristian, for his persistence and ability to understand which candidate was the right fit\u2014both technically and culturally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The recruitment process and transparency <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the collaboration, Waybiller appreciated Southwestern Recruitment\u2019s clear and well-structured processes. \u201cWhen a candidate was found, they were immediately forwarded to us,\u201d Grete highlighted. \u201cThis approach helped us stay aligned with each other\u2019s processes and avoid candidate duplication.\u201d Smooth and consistent communication with external partner proved to be a key factor in success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"> \u201cI really valued that Kristian never gave up, and despite a longer-than-usual hiring process, he successfully filled a technically complex position.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlight of the recruiting process? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For Grete, the most positive aspect of the partnership was Kristian Paekivi&#8217;s ability to find the right candidates. Even though they initially kept their expectations modest, the outcome exceeded them. They acknowledged that the external recruiter\u2019s ability to deeply understand the company\u2019s background and needs helped find candidates quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results and impact <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the impact of recruitment is often long-term, Waybiller\u2019s representative noted that the hired candidate helped structure their technical department more effectively.
